The Main House
The Main House is comprised of the Great Room, a formal living and dining area furnished with historic period mahogany furniture, decorated with historical paintings depicting the lives, loves and battles of Admiral Horatio Nelson and Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte; the room is surrounded by the Veranda, an outdoor covered area where breakfast, lunch and dinner are taken in a leisure atmosphere and its adjoining Montserrat Terrace. On the same level is the Den, a comfortable area with a club-like atmosphere in which to lounge, watch TV, or enjoy a drink while taking in the view of Freeman’s Bay. Adjacent is the Master Bedroom with its antique queen size Antilles four-poster bed, en suite bathroom and walk-in closet. On the same level are a charming single bedroom and bath, a guest powder room, and a vast fully equipped kitchen in which you can enjoy three beautiful sea views while your meal is cooking. On the lower level is the “Atelier” which gives onto Freeman’s Bay and the Pillars of Hercules, housing a carved four-poster bed, bathroom and lovely antique pieces of furniture.
